Account

Open your account

SellerLibrary is in early access. An account opens with the invitation that comes when your early access application is accepted.

  1. Apply for early access

Complete the early access form. If accepted, your invitation arrives by email. Check its expiry; ask support if the link has expired.

    Where: Join early access
  2. Sign up with the invitation

Create your account with the invitation link and confirm your email address.

  3. Complete your profile

Check your name, contact and sourcing details. Select the US delivery country in your Amazon session for prices and stock; its postal code does not need to match SellerLibrary.

Where: Settings › Profile and preferences
  4. Turn on two-step verification

Protect your account with an authenticator app. Keep the recovery codes shown at the end of setup somewhere safe; they are not shown again.

    Where: Settings › Security

Chrome extension

Install and pair the Chrome extension

Check your Chrome extension connection for product, store and category research and matching. Setup shows the version and installation options available for your account.

  1. Choose an installation method

Open Setup and updates on the Chrome extension page. If a Web Store link is available, install from there and let Chrome manage updates. If a newer ZIP is offered, you can install manually. The Web Store version and newest site package may differ.

Where: Chrome extension › Setup and updates
  2. For manual setup, load the extracted folder

Download the ZIP and extract it to a permanent folder. Enter chrome://extensions in Chrome’s address bar, enable Developer mode, and use Load unpacked to select the folder containing manifest.json. Keep this folder after setup. Pin SellerLibrary from the puzzle icon; ZIP steps are not needed for a store installation.

  3. Pair it with your account

While signed into SellerLibrary, use Connect with one click on the Chrome extension page. Otherwise get a one-time pairing code from the same page and enter it in the extension window; it is valid for 5 minutes. Do not enter your site password in the extension. Check for Connected.

    Where: Chrome extension page
  4. Check the running version

For a manual update, pause research, extract the ZIP into the installed folder and reload SellerLibrary in Chrome extensions. Refresh the site and check the version. Downloading a ZIP alone does not update the running version; pair again only if asked.

  5. Keep Chrome open during research

Keep Chrome and your internet connection available. During a larger store or category task, follow product searches from their product screens; pending work and reading limits appear in the status area. Do not repeatedly start a slow task.

  6. Use the troubleshooter

Start with Check connection and Troubleshooting. Correct a wrong Chrome profile, disabled extension or outdated version if shown. If a source page requires user action, complete the requested step on the page shown, then Continue the existing task.

    Where: Chrome extension › Troubleshooting

Store connection

Connect your eBay store

Each workspace connects one eBay store. Granting connection permissions does not itself publish a listing or start an advertising campaign.

  1. Connect the correct eBay account

Open the eBay connection in Settings and sign in with your store’s account. Check the username on return. To switch stores, disconnect the existing account first and follow the waiting period shown on screen; do not add a second store to the same workspace.

Where: Settings › eBay and research
  2. Complete supported permissions together

Supported listing, order, finance, tracking, advertising and notification permissions are requested in one eBay approval. If permissions are missing, use Complete eBay permissions or Renew permissions. Separate connections for each feature are not needed; eBay may ask you to sign in again or complete another check.

  3. Check connection and sync results

Check the connection in Settings, then sync in My store. If listings, orders or your logo look outdated, check the update time. A failed or unfinished sync can leave an empty list; that does not prove your store has no products.

    Where: My store
  4. Save store defaults

Choose shipping, return and payment policies and stock location for your business. Check that the default values are suitable for each new item.

    Where: Settings › Store defaults
  5. Bring existing listings into management

Use Move your store for older listings. Check the selected listings and mapping results. Managing an existing listing and creating a new listing for the same item are different actions.

Where: My store › Move your store
  6. Renew the same account when needed

When renewal is required, reconnect the same eBay account. Check that permissions are complete and sync resumes. Review enabled automatic price or stock rules separately.

Research

Find what sells

Choose a research type and filters, then check the evidence on each card. Sales quantity, last sale date and observation time are different facts.

  1. Start with one product

In Product research, enter an eBay listing link/number or Amazon product link/ASIN. Check the source type and start research. Inspect the title, price, variation and observation time.

    Where: Product research
  2. Research a store

Use a seller name or store link in Store research. Sort and filter by sales information. If a saved result opens, check its scan time; use the available refresh/scan action when you need new data.

    Where: Store research
  3. Choose one category search phrase

Choose your area from the category tree or search by category name. Use one search phrase per research task; review price, sales and other filters before starting. Change the phrase and start a separate task for another niche. Selecting a category alone does not start a scan.

    Where: Category discovery
  4. Read quantity and date together

Check whether the sales count is a total or refers to a stated period. A last sale date can be known while quantity is unknown. “Not measured”, “Unknown” or a dash does not mean zero sales. Do not treat listing creation or observation time as the last sale date.

  5. Filter for recent demand

For example, select products sold in the past 7 days and inspect those with a known sales count of at least 3. Missing date or quantity does not prove that condition is met. Compare seller count, price range and specifics together; sales alone guarantee neither a niche nor profit.

  6. Read why Discover flags an opportunity

Start with For you, Rising on Amazon, Early trends, eBay gaps or another available tab. Read the measurement, comparison period and freshness in Why an opportunity? Missing data or few observations are not proof of a trend.

    Where: Discover
  7. Collect candidates in My products

Use the card’s add action to save products. Organise folders, tags and notes in My products › My candidates and use available export options. Saving a product does not publish a listing.

Where: My products › My candidates
  8. Separate history from supporting reads

Manually started research appears in its history. Supporting reads for matching, draft preparation or price/stock monitoring do not appear as separate Product research entries; check the relevant product or monitoring screen.

  9. Inspect paused work and empty results

Check active filters first; a restrictive filter can hide results. If attention is required, read the reason and suggested action, fix the issue and continue the existing task. Read the scope of history removal, archiving and permanent deletion before using them.

Open research

A seller name is typed; the extension reads the store's listings, products are ranked by units sold, and the one you like goes to your candidates.

Sample screen; the products and figures are illustrative.

Amazon matching

Match the Amazon counterpart

Review candidates found from title and image in one list. A match score helps explain similarity; it does not guarantee an identical product.

  1. Open Amazon candidates from an eBay item

Use Find similar on the eBay listing or the Amazon candidate step in the studio. Compare cards as results arrive. If you know the correct ASIN, enter it directly instead of restarting the search.

  2. Verify the item and variation

Compare brand, model, dimensions, colour, material, compatibility and pack size. The same picture may be used for different options. Review differences and missing information before approving a match.

  3. Find an eBay counterpart for an Amazon item

Open suggestions in the Amazon product’s eBay reference section. Check reasons and differences, then select the correct listing. If there is no suitable result, link one yourself using its eBay listing number or URL.

Where: Product details › eBay reference
  4. Separate regular and Prime-only prices

Read the regular price and any Prime-only price separately. Prime pricing may require eligible membership or offer conditions. Do not choose a price you cannot use as your cost; check observation time, stock and variation.

  5. Calculate profit with your expenses

Estimated profit and ROI use selling price, cost and saved expenses. If shipping, tax, eBay fees or advertising costs are missing/zero, the result is not certain net earnings. A positive profit does not remove a match warning. Check your real purchase cost and pricing settings.

    Where: Settings › Pricing
  6. Connect the source for monitoring

Add the correct Amazon link to your store listing’s price or stock monitoring. Select the monitoring setting and available interval. Linking a source does not enable automatic price or stock changes; review rule settings separately.

    Where: My store
Open your products

The Amazon candidates of a product that sells are scored; the reasons for the best match are written out and net profit including eBay fees and shipping is worked out.

Sample screen; the products and figures are illustrative.

Listing studio

Prepare the listing in five steps

My products combines My candidates, Publishing process and Published listings. Open a candidate’s studio; saving drafts or preparing a batch does not itself publish listings.

  1. eBay product

Confirm the correct source item. Check category, condition and required specifics; do not copy details from another model or variation. Check the source listing of each batch row.

Where: My products › My candidates
  2. Amazon candidate

If completing with Amazon, match the correct item and variation. Compare added specifics with eBay details; inspect conflicts or missing fields. Check that images, description and pack contents describe the item you will sell.

  3. Price decision

Choose a cost you can use from the regular and any Prime-only offer. Review selling price, shipping/tax and deductions. Read estimated profit, ROI and shown listing fees/warnings; missing expenses make the price suggestion uncertain.

  4. Listing preparation

Check title, description, image order, specifics, quantity and store policies. Fix required-field warnings. Confirm content-use rights and that the item can be sold on eBay; automated checks cannot identify every restriction.

  5. Preview and publish

Read the item, variation, price, quantity, policies and warnings in the preview and final summary. Approve publishing or scheduling when ready. Review batch rows separately and fix incomplete/failed rows. If a result is pending, do not resubmit the listing; check Publishing process.

Where: My products › Publishing process
Open the publishing process

Listing Studio names the missing item specific; the field is filled, the listing fee is approved and the listing goes live in the eBay account.

Sample screen; the products and figures are illustrative.

My store

Run your store from one place

Follow daily tasks, listings, orders and suggestions for your connected eBay store. Freshness depends on the last successful sync.

  1. To do

What needs you today, in one list: orders waiting for you, unread messages, sold-out listings, orders missing profit data.

Where: My store › To do
  2. Listings

Check the selected listing and scope before changing price/stock, ending or relisting. A bulk selection can affect every selected row; check the result before submitting again.

    Where: My store › Listings
  3. Messages

Reply from the correct buyer and order conversation. Follow eBay communication rules and avoid unnecessary personal information. Check the sending result before repeating a reply.

    Where: My store › Messages
  4. Returns and cancellations

Buyers' return and cancellation requests in one list.

Where: My store › Returns and cancellations
  5. Report

Sales, revenue and profit; download the monthly table as CSV or Excel.

    Where: My store › Report
  6. Choose source and monitoring interval

Connect the correct Amazon source and choose an available interval, such as 12/24 hours. Check the last reading and next check time; a closed browser or access issue can cause delays. An old price is not a live offer.

  7. Review rules and suggestions separately

An enabled automatic price/stock rule can act under your authorised conditions without another click. In Suggestions, review current/proposed values, source time and reason before applying or rejecting. Check that reductions still meet your profit target.

    Where: My store › Suggestions
  8. Refresh logo and store details

If your eBay logo or store details changed, check the last sync. If old details remain, contact support with the screen and last sync time.

    Where: My store

Order line

Get the order to the buyer

Follow payment, preparation, shipping and delivery. New sales appear according to connection and sync status.

  1. A sale arrives

Check item, quantity, payment, delivery address and ship-by date. If an order is missing, check sync; search before recreating it.

Where: My store › Order line
  2. Prepare the order

Prepare fulfilment through your own stock or supplier arrangement. Enter real purchase cost and expenses; missing costs affect reports. Verify the order number and item when linking a source order.

  3. Tracking number

Check tracking number, carrier and separate packages. An order confirmation or created label does not prove carrier receipt. If actual movement cannot be read, inspect the warning. Automatic tracking submission may wait for the displayed conditions.

  4. Delivered

Follow eBay tracking submission, delivery and returns. Check message templates and automatic-send settings separately; preparing a template does not automatically send every message.

    Where: Settings › Buyer messages
Open the order line

Tracking page

Give your buyer your own tracking page

Set up your store-branded tracking page. Displaying tracking information does not mean a new carrier event has occurred.

  1. Open your page

Edit the store name, logo and colours. After saving, confirm the preview shows the right store details.

Where: Settings › My tracking page
  2. Send tracking to eBay

After the carrier's first scan the tracking can go to eBay by itself; you can turn that off and send it by hand.

Where: Settings › My tracking page
  3. Keep the buyer posted

Edit available templates, then check automatic-send settings and triggering events separately. Verify store, product and order details before sending.

    Where: Settings › Buyer messages

  10. Support and what's new

Your conversations with the team and what's new in SellerLibrary. Step-by-step help is in Help › Guide.

  11. Read the error and next action

Check the product/action, time, explanation and suggested fix. Complete the missing field or requested connection/source check. Do not repeatedly submit a publishing action with an uncertain result.

  12. Share useful support details

Search Selly or the Help centre. If needed, share the support/request code, time, action and a screenshot with sensitive details hidden. Do not share passwords, verification codes, session information or a buyer’s full address.
