Every step of a shipment, by its right name
An order's shipping state is made of three separate things: the carrier's real movement, the tracking number recorded on eBay, and eBay's delivery confirmation. SellerLibrary shows them apart; having one doesn't mean having the others.

01Steps
How it works

Three separate facts
The carrier's movement, the number recorded on eBay and eBay's delivery confirmation are kept apart. An uploaded tracking number doesn't make an order delivered.
Package by package
Up to 20 packages of an order are tracked separately. The order shows the state of the package furthest behind.
As precise as the delivery time
If the delivery time is known it's written with the hour; if only the day is known, with the day. An unknown hour is never made up.
My tracking page
If the rule is on, your own tracking page's code is uploaded to your eBay order once the supplier has shipped; the page shows the carrier's movements as they arrive. eBay's delivery confirmation is still tracked separately.
02What changes
The work done by hand is wiped away; one flow takes its place.

03Needs and limits
What to know before you start
What it needs
- A connected eBay store The tracking number is recorded on your eBay order.
- Chrome extension The packages on the supplier's order page are read with the extension.
Where it stops
- Whether eBay shows an order as 'delivered' is eBay's own decision; SellerLibrary doesn't guarantee it.
- eBay may not recognise a tracking page code like a carrier's number; that's why delivery confirmation is tracked separately.
In the packages
The monthly new-listing allowance, tracking capacity and how many stores you can connect depend on the package. The allowance is shared by all your stores.

YouThe tracking number is uploaded; why doesn't eBay say 'delivered'?
SellyeBay's delivery confirmation depends on carrier data and eBay's own matching. SellerLibrary shows carrier movement and the eBay record apart, and marks eBay's confirmation separately when it arrives.
SellyEach package is tracked on its own line. The order counts as delivered only once every package is delivered.
SellyA status text that isn't recognised doesn't change the order's state; the last known state and when it was read are kept.
